Everyone always says that laughter is the best medicine. Did you know it really is true. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease. Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain. Who cannot resist laughing when you hear a baby giggle. When did you last have tears rolling down your face because something was so funny? It is times like this that we forget, even maybe just for a few moments the things that can be bothering us. So why not try and make a point of laughing. Laugh at ourselves at the silly things we do. Try and look at the positive things and help spread a bit of happiness!!
