Remember, Remember ....... Fireworks Fundraising starts this weekend

by Banana Crumble | Oct 28, 2019

Wherever you live, we are sure that you will have a local Fireworks Display available to you over the next week or so.

Many of these displays raise fantastic amounts of money for charity. One such display is our own local event in Shoeburyness, Southend on Sea.

The BIG BEACH BANG, as it is called, is organised by Southend’s Round Table and is at East Beach, Shoeburyness on Saturday 2nd November starting at 7.45pm, gates opening at 5.45pm. Come along early and enjoy the Fun Fair first. Food also available.

In 2018 the event raised in excess of £10,000 for local charities

Enjoy a spectacular fireworks display whilst bringing not only your family but the whole community together. Thousands came along last year and we hope that thousands will come along this year. You can help us reclaim that community feeling by being part of an event that really gives back to its local area.

100% of the proceeds from the Big Beach Bang go to local charities; this is because the whole event depends solely on the hard work of volunteers. Every single penny goes back into the community. In the past we have helped Havens Hospices, Essex Air Ambulance, Southend Blind Welfare Organisation, Harp and many more.
