We have had a few people ask us about buying tickets for the Banana Crumb-Ball and saying that they would love to come but can’t get a table of between 8 and 10. To clarify you don’t need a whole table to be able to come, that was included as people were asking how many could sit on one table. We have smaller groups that are happy to share their table so even if it is just one or two of you, it will be great if you can come along and we will find you a table to join.
We have some really great auction items for the evening and one we have managed to secure today is a signed cricket bat from Alasdair Cook’s 2014 testimonial year. This includes signatures from not only the great man himself but also from Ben Stokes, Joe Root, James Anderson to name but a few. We will be producing a full list of all items that we will be auctioning. Thanks to Taylormade Chauffeurs for donating the bat. Your support is greatly appreciated.
As well as live music from the Hugh Rainey Dixieland Jazz band there will also be a DJ for the last few hours of the evening. There are plenty of great raffle prizes so definitely worth buying some tickets. Don’t forget that it is a cash bar at The Halfway House not only for the raffle and games but also for the drinks.
Countdown begins as it is just 7 weeks away. Looking forward to a great night raising money for our local Southend Cystic Fibrosis Association. If you want tickets please message firstname.lastname@example.org. There are still tickets available but we are almost coming to the cut off date as we need food orders and monies by the end of August so don’t miss out get in touch. If you are joining us then here is the menu again so you can contact us. I taste tested the Salted Caramel tart a few weeks ago and it is definitely a yummy dessert!!!
