Bristol City FC's Journey to the Carabao Cup Semi Final

by Banana Crumble | Jan 07, 2018

On Tuesday 9th January Bristol City FC take on Manchester City in the first leg of the Carabao Cup Semi Final.

These two teams are joined by Arsenal and Chelsea in what should be a great week of cup football.

Bristol City made it to the semi-finals after a fantastic last minute goal to knock Manchester United out of the competition.

As the final whistle blew, fans streamed on to the pitch celebrating with players.

Since the result against Manchester United, one of the pictures that went viral was of young Bristol City ball boy Jaden Neale. He got picked up by manager Lee Johnson who spun him around in celebration. Jaden and Johnson were celebrating wildly after Korey Smith scored the last-minute winner.

Ten-year old Jaden has been invited to be a guest of honour by Manchester City at this week’s game, and to meet all the players. He will be accompanied by his family on an all expenses paid trip to the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

Good Luck Bristol City and we hope the fairy tale continues for you!

So many ways to say thank you
