50 Mums | 50 Kids | 1 Extra Chromosome

by Banana Crumble | Mar 21, 2018

The 21st March is officially recognised by the United Nations as World Down Syndrome Day.

Down Syndrome International (DSi) encourages people from all over the world to choose their own activities and events on WDSD to help raise awareness of what Down Syndrome is, what it means to have Down Syndrome, and how people with Down Syndrome play a vital role in our lives and communities.

The 21st March was selected due to the uniqueness of the 21st chromosome which causes Down Syndrome.

We couldn’t help but share this emotional video which even brought James Corden to tears.
